RE: UPDATE TO MISSING JUVENILE - ALISA PETROV

SOUTH JORDAN, UT - May 28, 2025

In the evening hours of May, 28, 2025, Matthew Nicholas Menard from Miami, Florida self-surrendered to the South Jordan Police Department for the following charges: Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Enticement of a Minor, and Criminal Solicitation. Menard has been booked into the Salt Lake County Jail.

Further investigation has identified a third adult male, Samuel Mitchell from Herriman, Utah.

Police have arrested Mitchell on charges for Sexual Exploitation of a minor. Mitchell was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail.

South Jordan Police will continue its efforts to locate Alisa and follow other leads.

Alisa is listed as a Runaway Juvenile who is endangered. Any knowledge of her whereabouts should be reported to Law Enforcement immediately.
