The Bingham Creek Regional Park Authority (BCRPA) is seeking artists or artist teams to design and install two interior restroom murals at Bingham Creek Regional Park in South Jordan, Utah. This is the park’s first-ever public art commission and an exciting opportunity to bring creativity, inspiration, and beauty to a highly visible community space.
Project Overview
- Location: Interior walls of the men’s and women’s restrooms at BCRP’s central pavilion
- Budget: $2,500 per mural ($5,000 total project budget)
- Eligibility: Open to all artists; preference for Utah-based applicants
- Deadline: Applications due October 17, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.
Artists may apply for one or both restroom murals. Final selections may be awarded to one artist/team or two separate artists/teams.
Design Goals
Murals should:
- Bring color, vitality, and positive affirmations into the space
- Reflect the park’s identity, natural surroundings, and community spirit
- Be suitable for all ages
