Bingham Creek Regional Park opened in 2023 and is seeking several citizen volunteers (South Jordan residents and/or at-large Salt Lake County residents) for the Park Authority (board).*
Park Authority Responsibilities
- Learn to be a recreation advocate
- Promote outdoor recreation in the south part of the valley
- Impact the development and use of Bingham Creek Regional Park
- Provide recommendations to Salt Lake County and City of South Jordan – Government mayors and councils
- Monthly meetings: 12 pm, third Monday, at South Jordan City Hall
*Preference may be given to volunteers with legal, fiscal, and/or landscape maintenance experience.
