South Jordan City invites you to join the fun at the annual Pumpkin Promenade, a delightful event that showcases the creativity of our community through a spectacular display of carved, decorated, and painted pumpkins. Whether you’re a pumpkin artist or simply a fan of festive fall fun, the Pumpkin Promenade is the perfect way to celebrate spooky season with friends and family.
Enter the Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest
Think you’ve got what it takes to create the best pumpkin in town? South Jordan residents can pick up a free pumpkin to carve or decorate, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pumpkin pick-up will be at The Gale Museum Monday, October 21 through Thursday, October 24, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Don’t worry if you miss out on the free pumpkins—you can always purchase your own and still participate in the fun!
Design your masterpiece (remember, no downloaded or purchased templates are allowed!), and make sure it’s family-friendly. Drop off your completed pumpkin at Mulligans Golf and Games on Friday, October 25, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to enter the contest. Prizes will be awarded in several categories, including People’s Choice, Most Creative, Kids 11 and Under, Teens 12-17, Group Design, Open, and Senior (Age 55+). Winners will receive gift cards of up to $100!

Stroll through a wonderland of spooky, funny, and creative pumpkins displayed at Mulligans Golf and Games. Enjoy a walk among the intricately carved and decorated pumpkins that have been entered into our contest, each one telling its own unique story. Plus, you’ll find familiar characters roaming about and picture-perfect photo spots to take seasonal selfies.

The South Jordan Arts Council is excited to sponsor this year’s Pumpkin Promenade by bringing additional unique and creative flair to the event. Attendees will be treated to the sight of a giant, intricately carved pumpkin, a true work of art that will be on display throughout the event. Adding to the festive atmosphere, a storyteller will captivate both young and old with spooky tales, spinning hauntingly fun stories during Saturday’s event hours.
