South Jordan residents who utilize budget billing should be aware that their monthly utility payments have been recalculated. Each year, the Utility Billing department reviews the past year’s utility data to determine a consistent monthly amount for customers on budget billing. This recalculation has been completed, and the new budget billing amounts are reflected on the July statements, which began arriving in mailboxes at the start of August.
In addition to the budget billing updates, there have been rate changes for stormwater, garbage service, and water, effective with the new fiscal year. These changes are also reflected in the July statement. We encourage residents to review their statements carefully to understand these adjustments.
