Officer Ride-along

Our ride along program provides citizens a unique look into the daily activities of a South Jordan City Police Officer. We do limit the ride along to a maximum of 4 hours but a longer ride time can be arranged in special circumstances. Each person who participates in our ride along program is limited to one ride along every 6 months. 

*We do limit this program to South Jordan City residents, those currently enrolled in a law enforcement related class within their school or college, those who are currently within our hiring process or have applied to become a South Jordan Police Officer, those who recently graduated or are currently attending the Police Academy, or those currently certified or working as a police officer. We do offer this program to those who are 16 to 17 but you will need a parent to review and sign your Ride Along Application.

If you meet these requirements and wish to participate in a ride along, please complete our Ride Along Interest Form and someone will be in contact with you to complete the Ride Along Application process.
